A small studio in Cambridge, England
Toolbelt Websites is a small independent studio based in Cambridge, England, and we do exactly one thing: websites for people in the trades. We started it because tradespeople kept getting two bad options, a cheap template that looks like a cheap template, or an agency charging thousands for a five-page site. There had to be a middle. No office and no sales team is why the price stays where it is, and doing only trade websites means we already know what your customers look for before you tell us. Everything happens over email and we reply within a business day, wherever you are.

Is the demo really free?
Yes. We build a working preview of your site before any money changes hands. If you don't want it, that's the end of it. We won't chase you.
What's the process of getting a website?
Email us your business name and town. We send a free demo within a few days. If you like it, we polish it with your photos and details, connect your domain and you're live within 7 days of saying yes.
Do you write all the content?
Yes. You give us the facts, services, area, license and roughly 15 minutes of answers, and we write every word. You review it all before launch.
Do you include SEO?
The essentials are built in: proper page titles, fast loading, mobile-friendly structure and your service area written the way people search. We don't sell ongoing SEO packages, and we'd be wary of anyone who promises you page one.
Can I use my existing website address?
Yes. If you already own a domain we connect the new site to it, and your email keeps working. If you don't have one, we'll register it in your name.
Do I own the site?
Fully. The domain is in your name and the site is yours. The monthly fee covers hosting and updates. Cancel it and you keep everything.
What does the $50 a month actually get me?
Hosting, security and unlimited changes. New photos, changed hours, added services: email us and it's done, usually within a day or two, with no hourly fees.
